How it works

1. Create the event

Pick the kind of night or trip, the star of the day and your challenges. Share the link or the six-character code: your friends join in seconds, no account needed.

2. Take on the challenges

As the event goes on, challenges drop. Snap your photo proof: it shows up in the album and on the group's map. Nobody has to do a challenge.

3. Vote and win

The group votes, the points roll in and the leaderboard stays open right to the end. Your memories stay between you: look back at the route, the photos and the recap whenever you like, in the app or on flagnow.fr.

And after the party?

Relive it like a trip.

Each challenge becomes a stop on the map. You can see who played, who took the photo and what the jury said, day by day.

  • The route mapThe trail takes shape challenge by challenge, from the first photo to the last.
  • The jury's verdictNailed it, missed it, forfeit or secret mission: every stop gets its stamp.
  • Relive it as a slideshowOne tap, and the whole night plays back, right up to the podium.
  • An album to flick throughThe photo book puts itself together: flick through it, then get it printed.

On the quiet, all event long

Secret missions

Every player always has a secret mission on the go, with no timer. Nobody else can see it.

  1. 1Pull it off on the quietand snap a photo. As soon as the photo is sent, a new mission arrives.
  2. 2A randomly drawn jury judgesthe photo. No second attempts: on to the next one.
  3. 3Don't like it?Skip it to get another one, but it'll cost you points.
  • +15mission approved
  • 0mission rejected
  • −5mission skipped

The others find out what the mission was when they vote. The star it targets only sees it at the end and is never on the jury. When the star stays the same all event (hen or stag party, birthday, newlyweds…), they don't get a mission: they're the target. When the star changes with each challenge, everyone plays.

Frequently asked questions

What is Flagnow?

Flagnow is a photo challenge game for friends at events: hen and stag parties, birthdays, weddings, nights out, drinks, weekends away and ski trips. During the event, challenges drop; everyone takes a photo as proof, a randomly drawn jury votes and the leaderboard stays open right to the end.

Is Flagnow free?

Yes. Flagnow is free thanks to a few unobtrusive ads. A paid plan unlocks every challenge pack with no ads for guests, and you can order the photo album in print.

Do my friends need to create an account?

No. They join with the link or the six-character code and just a first name, with no email or password.

Can you play without installing the app?

Yes. By opening the invitation link on their phone, a guest can play straight in the browser: current challenge, photo proof, voting, leaderboard and chat. The app is still handier, with a notification for every challenge.

Who can see the photos?

Only the members of the event. The photos are not public. They stay available so you can relive the event, and are deleted if no member has logged in for three years, or sooner on request. Chat messages are erased fifteen days after the end.

What's the minimum age?

Flagnow is for adults only (18 and over).

When is the app coming out?

Flagnow is coming very soon to the App Store and Google Play. In the meantime, guests can already join an event from their phone's browser.
