Flagnow is a photo challenge app for friends, reserved for people aged 18 and over. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE / CSAM) and how to report content to us.
1. Zero tolerance
Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited on Flagnow: photos, challenges, messages, nicknames or any other content. This includes in particular child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the solicitation of minors (grooming) and any attempt to put an adult in contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
The app is reserved for adults: every user confirms that they are 18 or over before creating or joining an event (terms of use).
2. Reporting content
- In the app: every photo, challenge or message can be reported in a single tap. The event organiser is notified and the content is reviewed.
- By email: contact@flagnow.fr, stating the event and the content concerned. This address is our designated point of contact for any matter related to child protection.
- In France, you can also report illegal content on internet-signalement.gouv.fr (the PHAROS platform) or to Point de Contact.
3. What we do
- Any content reported as possibly involving a minor is handled as a priority and removed without delay once confirmed.
- The account that posted the content is suspended or deleted.
- Child sexual abuse material is reported to the competent authorities (in France, the PHAROS platform) and, where appropriate, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We keep the evidence needed for the investigation for the legally required period and cooperate with law enforcement.
- Event photos are visible only to the members of the event. They are deleted if no member has logged in for 3 years, or sooner on request to contact@flagnow.fr. Chat messages are deleted 15 days after the end of the event.
4. Compliance
Flagnow complies with applicable child protection laws, including the French Criminal Code (Code pénal), the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and the rules of the app stores (Google Play, App Store).
